I hope that makes sense and apologise for the inconvenience but spam is a big problem for some of us and even Javascript obfuscation didn't seem to work. Make sure you spell the names correctly though!

We have a general public mailing list for anyone to join in order to receive updates on AVR events, etc. to subscribe, then either send a mail to majordomo at axevalleyrunners.org.uk with subscribe public in the body or contact Garry who can add you manually. If you ever want to leave the list then send unsubscribe public to Majordomo.
We also have a "friends" list for those local to our area who would like to hear about AVR club events to which other runners are also invited, mainly longer social weekend and night runs. Contact Garry Perratt if you want to join this list.
We still ask for email addresses on entry forms in case we need to contact you (just like we ask for phone numbers) but the general messages will only be posted to the list (except in emergencies like the notification of the Grizzly's postponement).
