You can mail individuals named below as Firstname dot Lastname at AxeValleyRunners dot org dot uk. I hope that makes sense and apologise for the inconvenience but spam is a big problem for some of us. Make sure you spell the names correctly though - "Garry" or "Gary" depending upon which one, and there are two t's in "Perratt"!

We have a mailing list hosted at Yahoo Groups to which we post occasional messages about our events, mainly the Grizzly, or others with which we are involved.
While the third-party hosting is not a perfect solution it does have the benefit of us not having to maintain a huge distribution list. It is an announcement list to which only we can post so you will not get loads of junk mail and your own address should not be visible to anyone else.
To subscribe send a blank message (any text automatically included by mailers will be ignored) to axevalleyrunners-subscribe@yahoogroups.com which will then reply, asking you to confirm your request. If the address from which you send the message is already registered with Yahoo Groups our group will be added to the appropriate username; otherwise a new one will be created and you will be sent the details by email. No more action should be necessary but we can add people to the list if you have trouble. We will still ask for email addresses on entry forms in case we need to contact you (just as we ask for phone numbers) but the general messages will only be posted to the list (except in emergencies like the notification of the Grizzly's postponement).
