Entries are now closed for all but the junior race and fun run on the Saturday. You can download the hardcopy entry form and send it with dosh to The Grizzly, Coomb Bank, Cooks Lane, Axminster EX13 5SJ with cheques payable to "Axe Valley Runners". Alternatively, to reduce turnaround time since it's now close to the event, you can submit the change of runner form and post the dosh.
Note that ...
Actually, them are mainly applicable to the seniors' races but are left here for completeness ...
You are advised to read the whole of the right column of the Grizzly race page before entering.
The Grizzly will be about 20m with as much climb as this year's race; it is therefore likely to be a bit harder than ever before.
The Cub Run will be about 9m with no trophies. It is staged so that those not up to the full twentyish miles can experience some of what The Grizzly has to offer. It is not intended for very fast runners for whom there are plenty of entertaining middle-distance endurance off-roaders around, and any such people running it may get to the last water station before it is ready for them.
Affiliated fees apply to anyone affilated to ARC or EA/UKA; if you don't pay the correct amount then your entry will be returned. As far as we are aware, no hashes are affiliated.
There is a total limit of approximately 2,200 runners between both of Sunday's races. (That's down on 2011's limit which was too high for Seaton to cope.)
There will be one t-shirt design for all runners (same wording for Grizzly & Cub); it will as usual be for survivors only and will be of a technical fabric rather than cotton.
No refunds or deferrals; changes permitted only if we are advised of the new runner's details.
A digital copy of all runners' postal addresses will be given to the official race photographer but anyone displaying the "no photos" sticker (which will be sent with the final info) won't receive any pics. Other contact details of anyone who is sent photos but does not respond to the photographer will also be given to him.
Individuals' personal details will be given to emergency services associated with the event as necessary.
Immediate confirmation of entry will be by email from Active if entering via their site and email from us if via spreadsheet. We will email all entrants who provide a valid address once entries have closed. Cheques may take a few weeks to be banked.
Numbers and final info will be sent by the end of February.
We hope to have more merchandise for sale at Race HQ this year. Details are still being finalised but probably some or all of sweatshirts, hoodies, beanie hats, anniversary posters, fridge magnets, calendars.
