From 2008, this race will become a certified two-lap five-miler to avoid the need to walk runners across the fields to the start of the 10K course and 'cos there aren't many five-milers around.
Two laps of mainly flat country lanes or a single-lap 2½ mile fun run. New event centre at the Peace Memorial Playing Fields in Colyton near Seaton (map), a few hundred yards along the old course from the fire station.
There are no winners' prizes since the aim is to raise money for the Children in Need appeal but there will be loads of spot prizes.
