I messed up big time when arranging our timekeeping for the race with the result that there was no cross-checking between times and race numbers after about the 450th finisher overall (Cub plus first couple of hundred Grizzly). Having spent an inordinate amount of time trying to reconcile the two with times provided by about a hundred runners and failing miserably I've given up and just inserted additional times to resync. I apologise for this (it's most annoying since I know that we can do better) but it's really not worth spending any more time on so please don't bother to tell me if your time's out by a minute or two.
Many apologies also for the queue for later runners at the stile above Branscombe Mouth. We had taken care of all constrictions, dismantling all kissing gates, but I completely forgot about the one stile on the course :( It would have been easy to have taken the top two bars off. Hey ho.
I have been told that a number of photographers took pictures of the race and have made them available for purchase from their websites. Please be aware that the official race photos are provided by James Pyne Photography who will post photos for sale or return. They donate hundreds of pounds to our charities each year for the privilege.
There's a short film of the race courtesy of South West Road Runners here.
There are still a number of missing runners.
Grizzly - B Norman (651) recorded as crossing the line twice in quick sucession.
Grizzly - I have rather arbitrarily inserted five times at 4:51:20 and two at 5:11:00 in order to roughly synchronise the recorded numbers of times and runners.
They are compressed to reduce bandwidth on the webserver. If you don't have an application to open zipfiles I recommend the freely-downloadable 7-Zip. If you still have trouble I can email them to you uncompressed.
The columns in the results are as follows:
* This is the percentage of the speed at which the runner completed the course relative to the "world standard" for that age. The values can't really be compared with those from other races but do give a useful comparison of performance compared with other people in the same event. |
